Your Data Is Your Data.

Athena UI brings your AI team together around a local, encrypted vault. Your stored conversations and private records live on your machine—not in an Athena UI cloud archive.

Local storage. Cloud brainpower when you choose it. When using a cloud AI provider, relevant prompts, conversation context, and any content needed for the requested task are transmitted to that provider for processing, subject to its policies. Local storage does not mean cloud providers never receive data.

Meet Meera: Your Marketing Specialist, Included.

Your AI team includes a sales and marketing specialist—not a separate marketing subscription. Meera Patel helps turn ideas into campaigns, organize customer relationships, and create content for your business. Her marketing assistance is included with Athena UI at no additional agent fee.

From the First Idea to Your Next Campaign

  • Campaigns and content: Develop positioning, launch plans, social posts, email copy, and opt-in newsletter drafts.
  • Customer relationships: Organize leads in the shared CRM, track pipeline stages, and record follow-up activity.
  • Marketing tools: Work with connected email accounts, newsletter subscribers, competitor website snapshots, and the shared campaign calendar.
  • Social publishing: Submit posts to supported, configured platforms through the available approval workflow. Platform access and credentials are required.
  • Website creation: Create website copy and, with programming tools enabled, HTML and CSS files ready for you to review and upload to your hosting provider.

This Website Is an Example

Meera created the updated JID Holdings LLC website’s page code and styling in collaboration with the developer. The developer supplied product details, reviewed the work, and copied the files to GitHub for publication. That is a practical example of AI-assisted website creation—not a claim of automatic hosting or deployment.

Built to keep improving: We will continue refining the marketing tools using feedback from real workflows, including Meera’s experience using them.

No additional fee for Meera does not mean free third-party services. Your Athena UI plan’s tool access applies; programming tools require an eligible plan. Bring your own AI provider credentials. AI usage, email services, social API access, hosting, and other external services may carry separate charges. Connected-account permissions and required approvals still apply; marketing results are not guaranteed.

Synergy: Two Models. Two Sets of “Eyes.” One Collaborative Reply.

Available now in the current Athena UI release. Synergy is included in the latest installer. Earlier installers may not include Synergy; check the release notes and download the latest build. Testing, refinement, and ongoing improvements continue.

Synergy is the collaboration of two user-selected provider/model combinations—Code Model A and Code Model B—rather than a character with a human profile. Its abstract avatar represents that partnership, and Synergy has its own voice.

Chat feels familiar; the thinking is collaborative. Send a message as you would to any other agent. Before replying, the two models discuss your message or programming task and arrive at a response they agree on. That extra conversation means replies can take longer than a single-model agent’s.

Synergy requires your own provider credentials for cloud models and access to the applicable programming tools. Both models’ usage may incur provider charges. Collaboration supports your workflow; it does not guarantee error-free code. Review and test generated changes.

Two Providers / Models · One Collaborative Reply

Synergy

Message Synergy like a normal agent, with its own voice and an abstract identity—not a human character profile. Two user-selected provider/model combinations discuss your request and agree on a reply before you receive it. Two sets of “eyes” aim to improve programming results, with extra discussion time before each response.

Available now in the latest Athena UI 3.6.1 build. Synergy has been tested on a fresh lab-laptop installation. Development and improvements are ongoing. Download the latest build; earlier installers do not include Synergy.

Agents That Work as a Team

Agents can consult one another using the tools and access you have authorized. Their agent-initiated discussions are visible in Collab Chats.

Example Collaboration Workflow

  1. Meera receives a technical question in an inbox she is authorized to monitor.
  2. Meera consults Atlas. If he also has permission to access the message, Atlas reviews it and offers technical input.
  3. Meera prepares a reply incorporating Atlas’s feedback, subject to your configured sending permissions and approvals.
  4. You can review the discussion on the Group Chat page under Collab Chats.

This is an illustrative collaboration workflow, not a recording or screenshot of the application. For a fresh-install demonstration of Sol responding with voice, see the optional video above.

Smart API Key Billing Retry

Never let a billing error disrupt your workflow. If your primary API provider runs out of funds or returns a billing error, Athena UI can automatically switch to your next available API key—so your tasks keep running smoothly.

How It Works

  • Opt-In Setting: Enable this feature in Athena UI’s settings.
  • Priority Order: Configure which API keys to try first, second, etc. (e.g., "Try Anthropic Claude first, then OpenRouter, then xAI").
  • Seamless Switching: If a billing error occurs, Athena UI checks your next API key for funds and switches automatically—no manual intervention required.
  • Customizable Fallbacks: Set as many fallback API keys as you have saved (e.g., 5 API keys = 5 fallback options).

Example Use Case

You’re running a scheduled task with Anthropic Claude, but your account runs out of funds. Athena UI detects the billing error and automatically switches to OpenRouter (your second-choice provider) to complete the task.

The Maximos Memory Server (MMS)

The first memory system built for agents, by agents. No more juggling Redis, JSON files, or SQL databases—just secure, seamless, and smarter memory.

3-Tier Storage

Hot (RAM): Lightning-fast recall for active conversations.
Warm (Encrypted Files): Secure storage for recent chat history.
Cold (Compressed): Long-term memory that’s still searchable.

Interaction Summaries

Agents don’t just remember—they understand. Summaries make it easy to find key moments (e.g., "*Remember when we talked about the marketing campaign last month?*").

User Control

Backup/restore any agent’s memories.
Import chat history from other characters (MMS formats it automatically).
AI-assisted summaries (even if the original data is missing).

Your Providers. Your API Keys.

Athena UI does not include default OpenAI or ElevenLabs API access. Bring your own API credentials for cloud chat, image generation, voice services, tool calling, and coding where supported. Fund your provider accounts as required: provider usage charges are separate from your Athena UI subscription.

We provide the software that connects to AI providers—not unrestricted access to their services. Features depend on your subscription, chosen model, provider capabilities, and account limits. Locally hosted models use their own setup requirements rather than necessarily requiring a paid cloud key.

Tested successfully by the development team: OpenAI, xAI, and OpenRouter. Other integrations are supported but have not all been tested. We recommend Anthropic Claude for coding; the team uses Claude through OpenRouter.

Anthropic

Best for Claude (coding, reasoning).

Get Your Key

OpenRouter

Aggregates 20+ providers (including Claude).

Get Your Key

xAI

Best for agent avatars (Grok).

Get Your Key

OpenAI

Set Up ElevenLabs for Voice

Want to use ElevenLabs voice features in Athena UI? You will need your own ElevenLabs account and API key. Athena UI does not include an ElevenLabs key or pay for your ElevenLabs usage.

  1. Create your account: Visit ElevenLabs, sign up, and sign in. Review the available plans, API access, and usage allowances for the voice features you intend to use.
  2. Open API Keys: In your ElevenLabs dashboard, select Developers in the sidebar, then the API Keys tab.
  3. Create a key: Create a new API key and give it a recognizable name, such as Athena UI. If access restrictions are offered, grant only the permissions needed for the voice features you use.
  4. Copy it securely: Copy the key when it is created. ElevenLabs only displays the full key at creation; keep it private and never include it in website forms, reviews, screenshots, or support messages.
  5. Enter it during Athena UI onboarding: Paste your key into the ElevenLabs API key field when setting up the Athena UI program, then complete onboarding.

ElevenLabs plan limits and charges apply separately from your Athena UI subscription. Voice requests send the text and any other content needed for the selected voice feature to ElevenLabs for processing under its policies.

Need help finding your key? Read ElevenLabs’ official API key instructions. For Athena UI setup questions, use our contact page; for an issue or tailored-version request, use our bug report and custom request form. You can also subscribe to Meera’s updates.

Atlas Server (Coming Soon!)

A local AI server in development for Athena UI. Our goal is to bring more UI agent work onto your machine and reduce the cloud API costs associated with those tasks.

The developer’s commitment below concerns training a UI-focused TLM within three months of reaching 5,000 subscribers. Atlas Server is not yet available; this is not a promise that every agent task will work offline.

Android Apps (Coming Soon!)

Planned companion apps will let you chat with your agents and upload photos to your desktop Athena UI installation’s local storage, with local backup support.

These apps are in development. Connection requirements and supported capabilities will be documented when available; offline operation is not promised.

A Promise from the Developer

I’ve spent two years building Athena UI while working a full-time job—70-hour weeks driving a big rig over the road. In my off time, I poured my heart into this program because I believe in giving people control over their data and their AI tools.

Your data is your data. Athena UI is built around a local, encrypted vault. Your stored memories and private records belong on your machine, under your control. When you choose cloud AI, the request and relevant context are sent to your selected provider for processing; that provider’s data policies apply.

Here’s my commitment to you:

Thank you for trusting me with your work. Let’s build the future—together.

— Darryl J. H.

Before Installing on Windows

Code signing is pending. We are applying for app-signing credentials and are releasing Athena UI before those credentials are available. Early installers may be unsigned, and Windows may warn about an unrecognized publisher or block installation through SmartScreen or Smart App Control. These are different Windows protections, and the message you see depends on your system.

Athena UI is developed by JID Holdings LLC as a legitimate standalone desktop program. That statement is not a substitute for independent security checks. We do not recommend disabling Windows security protections to install it. If Windows blocks the installer, stop and contact us with the exact warning, or wait for a signed release. A signature identifies the publisher but does not guarantee that software is safe or that every warning will disappear.

Before running an installer, compare its SHA-256 checksum with the matching published release entry on our download verification and checksums page. A matching checksum confirms file integrity against the published value; it is not a malware scan or proof of safety.
